Trisotech and IDIOM Form Partnership

Date: 01/11/2015

Las Vegas, Nevada November 5, 2015 — Trisotech announced today that they have formed partnership with IDIOM, a leading innovator in the decision management marketplace with headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand.

“IDIOM has partnered with Trisotech to build the world’s first fully-automated Decision-as-a-Service (DaaS) for DMN models that conform to OMG’s Decision Model and Notation Standard (DMN),” says Mark Norton, CEO at IDIOM. “IDIOM is very pleased to be working with Trisotech as a partner in the development of a full cycle DMN modelling solution. Trisotech is an industry leader in the development of standards and of model authoring platforms to support them. IDIOM’s multi decade experience in generating high performance Java and C# code from model based designs is a perfect match to complement Trisotech’s platform. The combination delivers a full end to end service, from model authoring and testing, through to deployment as embedded or web based services.”

“We are delighted to partner with IDIOM and bring a new DaaS product to market combining Trisotech and IDIOM technologies,” says Trisotech CSO, George Barlow. “Now, anyone can create and collaborate on models of business logic, rules, policies and decisions, using our industry-standard Decision Model and Notation (DMN) web-based modeler that conforms to the OMG DMN V1.0 specification. Simply capture your decision logic using DMN decision diagrams or decision tables and then publish it either as a cloud service or as an executable library.”

“We offer complete support for the DMN standard. Once a model is created, testing and verification of the model is done directly from the modeler interface using IDIOM’s Decision Manager™ behind the scenes. When the DMN model is complete and verified, the IDIOM executable form of the model(s) can be downloaded directly from the Trisotech DMN modeller interface as a cloud service or as a stand-alone executable (C# or Java) for unconstrained use by the customer.”
